Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on simplification of visa prosedures for foreigners and stateless persons arriving in the Republic of Azerbaijan in connection with 2016 Formula 1 Gran-Prix of Europe

Guided by Clause 32 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I hereby authorize as follows:

1. Foreigners and stateless persons arriving in the Republic of Azerbaijan in connection with Formula 1 Grand-Prix of Europe may get a visa from the Foreign Ministry Consular Department structural units located at the international airports of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
2. One of the following documents shall be regarded as a basis for visa issuance:

2.1.  A document proving permanent accreditation of a person in accordance with relevant rules of the Formula One Management Limited and the International Automobile Federation, the international organizers of Formula 1 Grand-Prix of Europe;

2.2. A ticket to Formula 1 Grand-Prix of Europe or a document proving the availability of a ticket.

1. People mentioned in the 1^st paragraph of this Order can apply for a visa within the following period of time:

3.1. May 15 - June 30, 2016. People permanently accredited in accordance with the rules of the Formula One Management Limited and the International Automobile Federation and arriving in the country in connection with arrangement matters;

3.2. June 1-20, 2016. Delegations and members of teams participating in Formula 1 Grand Prix of Europe;

3.3.  June 10-20, 2016. Journalists permanently accredited in accordance with the rules of the Formula One Management Limited and the International Automobile Federation, as well as people who have tickets for Formula 1 Grand-Prix of Europe.

1. The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall settle all the necessary financial and logistical matters related to issuance of visas to people arriving in the Republic of Azerbaijan for Formula 1 Grand-Prix of Europe at the international airports of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
2. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall:

5.1.  Inform the Formula One Management Limited, the International Automobile Federation and appropriate foreign institutions about simplified visa procedures for people arriving in the Republic of Azerbaijan for Formula 1 Grand-Prix of Europe;
